The Signature Room and the Venetian Room may be rented separately or together, depending on the size of your event.

  • Signature Room* - $750.00 for all day rentals on Saturdays, or $90.00 per hour  Sunday through Friday
  • Venetian Room* - $550.00 for all day rentals on Saturdays, or $70.00 per hour Sunday through Friday
  • Garden for wedding ceremonies - $100.00
  • All 3 areas rented together $1,150.00 for all day rental on Saturdays or $130.00 per hour Sunday through Friday.
  • When using the services of an outside caterer or using the facility without serving a meal, we can also provide linen rentals with a selection of napkin colors for you to choose from (additional rental fees apply).
  • Rental fee discounts apply when the Rendezvous provides the dinner catering services.
  • Take your reception over the top with rentals for chair covers, organza bows & satin sashes, table banding, runners, organza overlays on the tables and much more in a multitude of color choices.  Pricing available upon request.
*The two rooms are adjoining and can be combined via two sets of double doors between them.

Rental Terms:
  • The 50% deposit must be paid at the time of making a reservation to confirm the date/room. If the deposit is not received, the space may be rented to another party without notification.
  • The client’s deposit will be refunded in full (less a $100.00 cancellation fee) if the cancellation is more than 120 days prior to the event. If cancellation occurs within 120 days of a client’s event, the deposit will be forfeited. 
  • Rental fee balance is due 30 days before the day of use and is non-refundable. A security/damage deposit of $300 is also due 30 days prior to the event.
  • The Saturday rental period is for the entire day. The facility must be vacated by 1:00 a.m. the date following your event. For example, if you rent the facility for May 1, you must vacate the premises no later than 1:00 a.m. on May 2.  If you rent the facility by the hour, the rental period must include your set-up (decorating) time as well as your clean up time. For example if you rent the facility from 2 pm to 5 pm you may want to issue your invitations for 2:30 to 4:30 pm for your guests and allow 30 minutes prior and post for setting up your displays, food, etc. and tearing them back down.  You will be required to exit the building at 5 pm.   If the Rendezvous is providing your catering services you do not have to allow for their set-up or tear-down in your rental hours.
  • There is a discount available for nonprofit & business events. It is the sole responsibility of the client to notify the Rendezvous staff of nonprofit or business status. Clients may be asked to show proof of nonprofit status in order to receive the discounted rate. 
  • There is no smoking in the facility or on the deck pursuant to the Iowa Smoking Laws. Smoking will be allowed only in the outdoor designated areas where ashtray receptacles are located. 
  • Staff members are available to assist you in preparing for your event. 
  • The facility offers linen napkins on a rental basis, or clients may provide their own. 
  • You may choose your own DJ’s or bands for your guests’ entertainment.
  • The facility is Wireless Internet accessible. There is no fee for Internet service while you are at the Rendezvous for a paid event. 
  • Repairs for any damage occurring to the facility or its property during an event will be paid by the client who rented the facility when damage occurred.
Decorating:
  • Clients may decorate the day of their event during their rental hours.
  • Tape, tacks, nails, etc. may not be used on the walls or woodwork. Items can be brought in to set on the floor or tables.  Easels may be used for display purposes.
  • Candles in an enclosed container or approved candelabra are acceptable. To be sure selected containers meet fire code, and if possible, clients should bring a sample to the facility for inspection prior to their event. 
  • Decorating with confetti, and/or glitter is not allowed. 
  • Clients and their guests are expected to leave the facility in the same condition as when they arrive. All personal items and decorations must be removed at the conclusion of the event. If anything other than normal clean up is needed to prepare for the next group, clients may be billed for additional labor.
