The Rendezvous provides catering & beverage services either at our own location or at a reception site of your choosing that allows outside catering services. We are a licensed liquor establishment and can also provide wine and beer services at sites that allow alcohol to be served/brought in at their location.
Food
We are delighted to serve you our wide assortment of foods from delectable hors d’ouevres to delightful desserts and everything in between. We offer a wide range of foods to choose from and if you want a theme dinner or special foods that you don’t see on our menu please don’t hesitate to contact us regarding our custom catering services. We delight in making your event exclusively yours. We have served events with all vegetarian foods and we have prepared favorite recipes provided to us by our hosts/hostesses as well. We are happy to work with you in creating a meal that is special to you.
Bakery items such as donuts, cakes, cookies and nuts may be brought into the facility without being required to use a licensed catering service to provide those items.
The kitchen at the Rendezvous is set up for food preparation by the Rendezvous staff only. Your licensed caterer may contact the Rendezvous to check for availability for their staff to access the kitchen for serving needs. No cooking, grilling, baking, or frying is permitted in the kitchen area by outside caterers. All food brought in must be cooked/prepared prior to its arrival inside the Rendezvous.
Ala Carte Menu
Liquor/Beverages
ALL beverages must be provided through the Rendezvous. If any beverages are brought in from any other source, including guests, the host will incur a $50 or more service fee, dependent upon type & quantity of beverages found on the premises. Prices for liquor and beverages vary greatly, depending on the amount and brand of alcohol served.
Options White and red wines, scotch, vodka, gin, rum, and beer are the most popular alcoholic beverages. Soft drinks and punch are popular nonalcoholic beverages served at receptions. And of course, don't forget coffee or tea. There are a number of options and variations for serving alcoholic beverages: a full open bar where you pay for your guests to drink as much as they wish; drink tickets provided for your guests to have a limited number of drinks; an open bar for the first hour, followed by a cash bar where guests pay for their own drinks; cash bar only; beer, wine and soft drinks only; nonalcoholic beverages only; or any combination thereof.
Things To Consider If you plan to serve alcoholic beverages at a reception site that does not provide liquor, make sure your caterer has a license to serve alcohol and that your reception site allows alcoholic beverages. If you plan to order your own alcohol, do so three or four weeks before the event. If you plan to have a no-host or "cash" bar, consider notifying your guests so they know to bring cash with them. A simple line that says "Cash Bar" on your reception card should suffice.
In selecting the type of alcohol to serve, consider the age and preference of your guests, the type of food that will be served, and the time of day your guests will be drinking.
A bottle of champagne will usually serve approximately six glasses. Never serve liquor without some type of food.
